Chinhoyi- Bishop Chad Nicholas Gandiya is sad to announce the death of Sekuru Paul Mudowayo, the Founder and President of the Vabvuwi Guild in the Anglican Church (CPCA) on Thursday 31 May 2012 following a long illness. He was 92 years old.

The Most Revd Dr. Thabo Makgoba, the Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town and Primate of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, today called on President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe to put an end to police persecution of the church there. He was reacting to the action of police in stopping the annual prayer retreat of clergy from the Diocese of Harare.

Archbishop of Canterbury arrives in Zambia on the final leg of Central Africa visit

Archbishop Rowan Williams arrived on Tuesday morning in Lusaka, Zambia, for the final stage of his visit to the Church of the Province of Central Africa. Dr Williams was accompanied by the Archbishop of Central Africa, the Most Revd Albert Chama and the Bishop of Lusaka and Presiding Bishop of the Zambian Anglican Council, the Rt Revd David Njovu.
